Scottish student in England
I received an invoice for tuition fees from my Uni (in England). Do I have to do anything to make sure that SAAS pays? I was under the impression SAAS paid the fees directly, unlike SLC who transfer the funds to your account and make you pay yourself. Am I wrong?

SFE pays the uni direct as well - the money never comes anywhere near the student.
You need to go back to your uni and ask why they've invoiced you. If you've had confirmation of your Tuition Fee Loan from SAAS, then they should pay your uni. Sounds like something's broken down in the process.
