Agreeing to her request, Watase is drawn into a world of fighting giant robots in a game-like world that he must save from Deutera Areas formed by aliens known as Gards-orm that threaten to destroy the earth. However, Watase soon comes to realize that the world that he is living in might not even be real at all and begins to find that everything he is doing is strangely familiar. As he questions the nature of the reality he lives in, Hina must continue to fight in order to protect the lives of those important to him.

He agreed to PILOT A MECH just so that she would feature in his promo video!?
Not sure what to make of this one after watching the trailer, but Sunrise mech shows are usually a good laugh.

More Chuunibyou is definitely a good start to 2014!
The first series made my Top 12 anime list for 2012, and if this sequel manages the same balance of hilarious delusional battles and cutesy awkward romance, it could well make the list again this year.

This one could be alright, as I do like comedy anime that feature delinquents as the main characters.
Animation didn't look to be anything special going by the PV, but that's not crucial in a comedy.

I enjoyed the first series, so will almost certainly watch this sequel! Would highly recommend the first series to anyone who's curious – there's still time to marathon it before January!

Trailer reminded me of Durarara!! for some reason... but comparisons aside, the synopsis sounds interesting, and the animation had style. The words 'game' and 'detective' always pique my curiosity too... definitely interested in this one!

The second TV anime from the studio that first brought us Attack on Titan. A dark comedy set in hell... I was sold on that alone, with the trailer only adding to my excitement. Should certainly be different!

Can't say I've had much luck with these slow-paced, shinto deity-themed series in the past, they usually end up boring me for some reason.
Maybe the rom-com spin will make this one more interesting, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Generic name, generic synopsis, and its a light novel adaptation. Not a fantastic first impression. Trailer doesn't give much away either. Not all bad, though - I'll be putting my faith in the director, since he's worked on some great anime in the past!

The three (and Konbeni’s older sister Benio) start living together underneath the same roof, and hilarious happenings occur.

Looks and sounds more or less like every other Dogakobo comedy series for the last few years... not necessarily a bad thing as long as it makes me laugh, but there's a lot of other comedy shows to compete with this season.

Can't remember the last time Shaft/Shinbou produced a series I actually liked.
Think I've gotten tired of their usual wacky animation and direction tricks... The synopsis sounds half decent, though.

Jeanne d'Arc, Leonardo da Vinci and Nobunaga Oda. In mechs. Also saw Julius Caesar mentioned in the supporting cast on ANN. Sounds fun to me, though the CGI animation looked a bit dubious in places in the trailer IMO.

This one has the potential to be absolutely hilarious, and is one of my most anticipated non-sequel shows.

Undecided on this one. Nothing about it seems particularly original (though at least the guy is a god as opposed to yet another maoh), but Bones anime usually have decent animation and action scenes.

Kosaku was Yuka's biggest fan and her departure left him depressed. His classmates at the Tamo Agriculture School finally are able to get him to leave his room and attend his class, but to everyone's amazement, Kusakabe Yuka (her stage name) comes into the class under the name Kinoshìta Ringo as a transfer student. Kosaku realizes he has the once in a lifetime opportunity to get to personally know his dream girl and, together with his group of friends, try to find out why she is here and become closer than just classmates.

Another series set in an Agriculture-focused school? Thankfully the focus of this one doesn't seem to be on educating the viewer about farming, as I can't see any other anime doing a better job of that than Gin no Saji.

The manga is apparently a 4-koma comedy, so I'm not expecting a serious romantic drama full of character development here. Should be okay, as long as the studio doesn't end it on a cliffhanger and then not bother making a sequel...

Have to admit I was a little disappointed when I found out this wasn't going to be a TV remake of The Princess and the Pilot, as early synopses suggested it would be, but anything set in the same world is worth a look IMO.

I like the character designs... but that's about it. The trailer didn't do much to make it stand out either. The director has a good track record with comedy series, though, so if it does focus more on that than action then it might be good for a laugh.

The name made me laugh, the synopsis piqued my curiosity, the voice cast more or less guaranteed I'd be watching it anyway... but it was the trailer for this one that really sold it for me. Definitely on my list.

I was dreading this season to be honest but it looks a lot better than I thought 
nothing stands out as a mega watch (besides Chuunibyou which I need to rush asap!) but a lot more interest for me than last season.

Chuunibyou 2 is my most anticipated show. Only just finished the first one & absolutely loved it so glad I won't have to wait too long for the sequel! Only worry is the ending to season one was pretty damn good so I hope this second season is as good and doesn't ruin that.
Aside from that I think I'm definitely watching Space Dandy & would also like to watch Tonari no Seki-kun. Wizard Barristers is a maybe (assuming there is a decent amount of over the top courtroom action; if the barrister thing is just a gimmick I'll drop it right away) & so is Sekai Seifuku.
