Help on criminal law exam
A police officer arrives at a scene of a crime and the defendant runs off out of an office and down a fire escape. He pushes through a fire door into the car park outside and the door shuts behind him. He places a bin directly outside the fire door to slow down the chasing officer who he can hear running down the steps in pursuit of him.
The officer pushes through the fire door into the car park but trips over the bin placed there by Connor. He falls to the floor and bangs his head suffering concussion. He is taken to hospital where a scan reveals he has a brain damage as a result of a blood clot caused by the fall.
What are the offences?
