If it's just the belly, surely sit ups are the way forward??

Do you have a car? Cut that out instead of the drink - walk everywhere. It's actually a lot of exercise, especially if you drive everywhere normally.

sit ups arent going to do a thing, its cardio first

Chi3f is right kind of. It will strengthen your stomach mussels but you won't be able to see them without doing cardio and burning some fat off.

Bloomin eck I concur, all the pompous up arse sods saying 'don't drink'. I'm 19, wouldn't mind losing a bit of weight either, and I'm off to uni in September but there's no way I'm cutting out drinking! It IS possible to drink and lose fat, believe it or not.

Reply 13

Just cut down on beer or replace it with something low calorie like vodka + diet coke.

Reply 14

^^ Just start drinkin stuff that isn't basically liquid bread.

Anyone got any tips on the best way to lose some excess fat on my stomach. I'm not overweight as such but due to the beer I have put on abit of weight. Please don't say cut out the drink because I'm only 19 and haven't even started uni yet, I just need some good exercises to balance it all out.

I cut out drinking before i was 19 it's not the end of the bloody world... if you can't seem to deal with what happens with drinking so much then tough you aren't gonna get rid of it if you keep on drinking are you... jeeze

Apparantly the atkins is good for a beer belly. Though that would require you to drink less. I'm sure a fortnights worth of no drinking and atkins would solve it.

Reply 17

EASY....Drink more beer!

Christ, everybody! He gets that you all think he should stop drinking. Now does anyone actually fancy answering the question? Or are you not done preaching yet?

Sorry Yuki, this wasn't only aimed at you - you were just the nearest 'quote' button.
