What is the hardest thing about your relationship?

People always told me relationships were hard. I never believed them until recently, when I entered my first serious relationship. Its harder than I thought, admittedly. Great, but hard. And i'm not even sure why its hard, it just is.

How would you describe the most difficult aspect of your relationship/past relationships? I'm just trying to suss out exactly what I am finding tricky, and learn from other people's experiences and stories.

After what is known as the 'honeymoon period'. Me and my boyfriend were so close all summer, saw each other all the time, talked to each other all the time because it was new to us & exciting, we used to have so much sex. Now we haven't had sex in a month and have other commitments to fulfil. I do seem quite clingy & needy in relationships, so trying to get past that.

In a long distance relationship so the distance really. Other than that, communication, but that wouldn't be an issue if we weren't long distance.
Being long distance, definitely. Things were pretty simple when we were living in the same place, but now we're not anymore, it's difficult but still so worth keeping it going :yep:
Every relationship has its ups and downs but I gotta admit I hate the periods where sometimes all you seem to do is just snap at each other (whether its due to exam stress or just emotional stress)

i'm long distance too haha. I don't find that bit too hard any more, kind of used to it now. Its a bit annoying but other than that ok
The distance is horrible. Saying goodbye is definitely the hardest and worst though.
Sometimes my arm gets tired.

It keeps on changing so that's what's annoying. It's like having really good ice cream in the freezer, finishing it but not getting another one for a month. I like ice cream

Hmm probably money worries since we live together and we share the bills and then probably my PMS, though for the last 6 months or so I haven't really had PMS, at least not the mood swing symptoms.

Have you considered turning your house into a casino

The hardest thing about a relationship is probably ending one. Whilst in a relationship, distance and money troubles (which can go hand in hand) can be hard to overcome/deal with.

But good things are worth the effort.

I'm another one who is long distance, but I've also been short distance so I can add something that is not 3000 miles...

Mood swings are hard. Both my boyfriend and I tend to get anxious, depressed, and short with each other every so often. It doesn't last long and it's usually over something silly, but when both members of the relationship are having a bad day, it's hard to cheer each other up and stay positive. Of course, distance emphasizes this, but I've seen it happen without the distance as well. And it sucks.
My immaturity. And also my penis.
