Hi there,
I will be doing my AS level as an External student in 2015, so I am already trying to get all the information that I can. I know what I want to study (History, Archeology, classics. In that field anyway) and want to take A-level Classics, History and Ancient History.
What exam board do you guys recommend? I am doing my IGCSE'S over CIE, but I find AQA and OCR very appealing. Classics at OCR seems like theres more options and work. Advice?
Thank you!

You need to be aware that changes to A levels are planned that will be introduced for teaching in 2015.
For those subjects first affected by the changes (including history) there will be a new syllabus, it's not clear which examiner(s) will offer it and the A level will be fully linear with all of the exams in 2017 at the end of the course. AS will still exist but the results will not contribute to the final A level grade.
I don't know when classics and ancient history will be affected by the change.
