I've done one early, french and got A* woohoo (:
9 and a short course R.E so 9.5.
I don't really see the point in schools putting kids in for 12+ GCSEs, I can understand 11, (if they are doing the triple award science etc) but any more than that just puts so much pressure on the students. Plus you only really need maths/english/science and few extras to have a broad enough range that will help you in later life (i.e. getting you jobs)...
5 i had no choice...............thats why im doing a BTEC
I miss clicked on the poll, bah!
I did 11.5 though. English lit, English lang, double science, RE, history, product design, art, ICT, maths, stats and short course PE. Never felt like that much to me at the time..
I did 11.5
shame i didn't do well in any of them
12.5, the ict shourt course sucked so much, i dont even know why they bothered with it!
I did 12/13!
Year 9 - Geography
Year 10 - Half R.E, History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
Year 11 - Maths, Spanish, Other half of R.E, I.T (Double), English Lang, English Lit
Also in Year 11, Statistics O level, set by CIE, and AS History and Science for Public Understanding
i did 10.5 and a load of 'GCSE equivelant' courses so if you will let me include those then 14
i started gcse this year n itook ten subjects i think..2english maths, science,pe n re or citizenship made compulsory, n some of the subjects i took they wroth 2 gcses like ict or business study..n plus the chinese exam i did, so that's 14gcses. n in my old school they made ocr ict compulsory, n ihad two 50mins lesson a week since gcse on ict n did unit 1 and 21 early n finished most of the unit4 in year9...so how many gcses would that ict course possibly wroth?1.5 or 2?
I did 13.5 GCSEs, and 2 AS levels at secondary school.
9, 1 equivalent (aida or cida or whatver) and 1 i refuse to admit i did (got a D- cramped my style)
I'm doing 9 altogether.
English Language (Future Pass)
English Literature (Future Pass)
Maths (Not sure, depends if I get a C on the foundation paper I'll be given the privilege to do higher next year)
Science (I'm doing well in science at the moment, but some areas are still too difficult to remember)
DT Graphics (Future Pass, probably not because of my annoying teacher)
Art and Design (Future Pass)
Religious Studies. (Not Sure)
I'm considering dropping out of one subject in particular because I find it excruiatingly dull. I'll come to that bridge when I cross it.
