lettuce was laid on a surface where white spirit had been. Lettuce was eaten. Coulnd't figure out what the slightly weird taste was until i'd already eaten quite a bit and then smelt it.
your stomach hurting is probably psychological. the more water you drink the better, but if you had consumed enough to be of danger, you would be feeling it more so by now.
however, I am not a doctor, so if you are worried, you might wanna call someone who knows. i.e the nhs helpline.
If it really was as little as you say; then it's unlikely to do you much, if any, harm.
It's possible that your stomach ache is psychosomatic- i.e. you're worrying about the white spirit, and as a result your stomach is starting to hurt.
If any new symptoms develop, phone NHS direct like BlackHawk said, or take the bottle/the label of the bottle with you to the doctor if there are any open, or A&E if things get bad.
phone doc if ur worrying! But is probably bot half as bad as all the pesticides we have all eaten. Just drink plenty water to wash it down and youl be fine!

Don't eat any hot and/or spicy foods, or you may spontaneously combust.

If it's pure ethanol he's fine - if likely to get pissed depending on how much he had. If it's not pure ethanol it's probably got methanol in it, which is what gives you a hangover, and which will kill/hurt you if you have too much.

Oh, and according to Wiki, it's paraffin derived, so not ethanol related at all...
