2014 Oxford Results - when?

Hi everyone!

The Oxford website states that "On 8 January 2014, you will be told whether or not you have an offer of a place".

But the tutors at my interview said before Christmas. So I am a bit confused. When can we expect to receive the results from Oxford?

It used to be before Christmas, now it will be in January is what I gather. The tutors were probably giving you old info :yes:

From their perspective, they do make the decision before Christmas, and it used to be communicated almost immediately. I was interviewed on the Wednesday and got my offer on the Friday.

You don't hear until January this year though.

Aha Oxford's website says the 8th January but when I was at Oxford for my interview at University College in their pack they said 'you will not hear from us until at least the 11th January' i'm hoping to god that was an error!

I'm an international student, so the information was well received as I will need it to apply for funding. And as for showing emotions on an internet forum, some people are less expressive than others I guess.

You're going to find out soon enough, don;t be so impatient.
Why does 'the format' even interest you?
It will either say YES or NO.

Congratulations! I'm a HMC applicant as well. When was your interview?

The principal did say that "they might send the decision 2-3 weeks after the interviews".
