Tips on REVISING History IGCSE

Hello all,

Any tips or advice in revising IGCSE HISTORY? I managed to finish the course quite early but am stuck on exactly where to revise. What do you think I should do - start going over dates, read through the Edexcel History student book and other reference books, go over the main points of each area etc? Anything else? If you have any tried-and-tested methods, I'll really welcome them! If you are revising at the moment or have a clear idea of how you plan to revise, please - share them with me! Okay, I'm waffling now ... but just generally any tips and advice on how to revise. Also, I would appreciate any ideas on linking the different historical sections together, something I know is very important but I haven't mastered yet. '~'

By the way, just as an aside ... is anyone else following the Oxford Open Learning IGCSE HISTORY COURSE? What are your feelings about it? Personally I wouldn't recommend it, it takes such a overly-complicated and 'boring' approach to history!
