Because there is no room for homophobia?

once less issue that people argue over

Yes. For one, people would make fewer thread titles that contain clear grammatical errors.

I do agree with you but that type of argument could be used for anything

Yep, logically it makes sense even though it isn't the homosexuals' fault its the persecutors.
That's like saying there would be less problems in the world if everyone was white as there's be no racists.

You are blaming the victim.
If it wasn't gays it would be something else. Bigotry is about victimisation rather than an actual secific hatred of the thing. For example, in america everyone hated communists, then after the twin towers, it changed to Islam, it's all about finding someone to blame. Anyone's who isn't the majority (or at least upper hand) is a target. The only way we could think that the world would have fewer problems in this respect is if everyone was exactly the same in beliefs, colour, sexuality, health, class... Then maybe bigotry wouldn't exist. Thinking that if just one thing was eliminated it would wipe out some of the worlds problems is optimistic at best

No, if homophobia didn't exist, interracial marriages, Black people, Women have all been treated like crap by idiotic straight white people in the past now it's the gays turn, then when gay people become more equal it will be another group of people, the disabled probably or people who don't speak English as a first language or some idiotic thing like that.

for the haters that disagree with me, ponder on this: everything is related

If people weren't so stuck up and stubborn homophobia wouldn't exist either.
If black people didn't exist, we wouldn't of had racism.
