Hi guys,

I am currently studying A2 Psychology AQA A and I'm doing the units Relationships, Aggression and Eating Behaviours, however I am having particular trouble in working out how to answer A02 and A03. I got a C last year in AS however whenever I do mock papers in class this year, my teacher keeps grading me E's. She hasn't given me much feedback in how to improve my answers so I thought I would upload a few of my essays that I wrote on here and see if I could get any advice, especially on what to include for A03. Hopefully we can have a discussion and help each other out.

Thank you,
Hannah

a02 is really just explaining the a01 (description) using evidence and that then a03 I would say to include IDA, Issues Debates and Approaches which is where the real evaluation of the evidence and studies come in

I'd say to include just the findings and not what happened in the studies then if you need to for an evaluation point use the fact it was only female participants so gender bias which then means it can't be generalised to the population

Your essay's are good but use the key terms like low mundane realism and ecological validity more obviously because the examiner and your teacher will probably just skim read it and look for these few terms and give you marks based on that

Thank you! Do you know where I could find information for IDA because my text book includes the very bare minimum?

Which text book do you have?

We use the cat/dog ones Cara Flanagan and Mike Cardwell, I think that's a pretty good one, it's the third edition one x
