I did the OCR level 2 qualification for ICT and got AA, which is the highest you could get. I'm also doing the AQA further maths level 2 qualification.

Would these count as GCSEs for when I'm applying to uni? I mean, would they look at the AA as two As at GCSE or would they discount it?

thanks!

AQA Further Maths definitely counts as a GCSE equivalent (especially since it actually goes beyond GCSE). I'm not sure about the IT qualification but I assume it would.

So if I get an A* in it will that count towards the amount of A*s I've achieved in total?

With AQA Further Maths, yes. The other one I'm not 100% sure, but I wouldn't see why not.

I did the OCR ICT qualification last year and when it was in the newspaper, it counted as 2 GCSEs.
