What internships does exist and are worth it?

I am interested of an internship or perhaps even employment next summer and onwards. I've tried to search and have some idea of which companies I'm interested of. Now I'm trying to make a list and could use some help.

Which companies are included in the bulge bracket and what other banks and institutions offer internships?

Of course the dream would be GS, Deutsche, ML or similar but since I will only be having an Ok, not elite education (oxbridge,lse,harvard etc) I am trying to include as many companies as possible on my list.

So please help me fill with this thread with companies (in IB of course)which offer internships or employment for people who are in the middle of their education (1 yr left).

Wow great!

Should have done some more research perhaps.

I guess all of these don't offer internships so any recommendations on which to focus on?

I saw some "foreign" banks on the list, australian etc, do the british and american banks usually have more comprehensive programs or is it mainly correlated to size of the bank?

What about consulting? Wouldn't be too depressed if I got turned down at GS but got an internship at Mckinsey or Bain. Do you know any similar listings?

If there is no such list, I'd appreciate if you listed the firms you do know.
