Industrial programming

I have a background in HTML, CSS & Javascript but it has never been a passion for me. I have just used it as a hobby there and then when I needed a website.
It wasn't until 2 years ago when I started getting bored of mmo video-gaming until the sparks of computer programming came back.
Now I am learning at a incredibly fast pace and I love of all the new editions of languages. In the past year I have learned Python, PHP and Java. I'm pushing ahead but I'm having trouble choosing which languages to specialise in.
Ideally I want to learn a language which will allow me to keep a day job at middle class wage levels while still being able to create programs that are capable of taking advantage of high level mathematics.
For example. I would be willing to create programs for mobile phones & android but in my spare time I want to create the kind of software which could operate the Mars Exploration Rover or a Formula one racing car.

Right now the plan is to focus on these 5 languages.
Javascript, Java, C++, Python and Haskell

If I come into some money I may decide to take some high level courses in mathematics so I can develop the needed algorithms for complex problems. Although I'm not sure.
