So... It's Christmas Eve, trains are cancelled disappointingly and I can't go in to work. What should I do? :cry2:

I'm tempted to watch Harry Potter, play on the Super Nintendo (Play some Mario) or go for a run.

Although all three could probably be achieved in the day if I can be bothered.

EDIT - I'M GETTING A LIFT IN - THE DAY IS SAVED!!

Are they actually outright cancelled for the day , or are they just majorly disrupted and cancelled until further notice.

I also have to take a train into work but my train service is saying they are suspended until further noitce . I really want the day off but work are saying i've got to get in , it being one of the busiest days of the year and all.

In the south they are DEFINITELY suspended until further notice unfortunately... He said that could be till after 9, however even after 9 there could be hour + delays.

Missing out on £150 today...

It depends on the Harry Potter film itself. Unless you're content with just watching say the first film there's no point if you aren't going to watch all eight.

Super Nintendo is achievable because you can play for anything from an hour to five hours.

Going for a run you should do because it's winter and winter running is fantastically awesome!

Lucky you. I had to call in sick to miss the 55 pounds I would have earned for nine hours today.

Now, they want a doctors note.

Hi 1han,

I work for an asset management firm... Also, I only had to do 2 and a half hours today - That's the finance industry for you.
