Accelerate Physiotherapy MSc pre reg, help with references

When asking for an academic reference can a tutor give a generic reference?, i.e. one that doesn't state the name of the university or the person. It will just give the referees name and contact details, my name, the course I want to attend and the actual reference.

I ask because I want to attend an accelerated physio (pre reg) course, because they are soooo competitive I want to apply to 7 of them but I understand that I can't ask my referee for 7 different references ( i.e ones that state the name and address of the uni, name of the course director)
