How many people are you spending the Day with and what family members will be included? I often feel my Day is a bit different as family members who have passed away means the numbers usually drop to around 4-6 people, just immediate family.

Eat my no-meat christmas dinner, pull some crackers, open some presents with the family. Then that's it for another year.

It's like.. what am I doing?

Quite a lot. In the afternoon about 5ish we go down my mamgu's, who has 6 grandkids and 13*great grandkids. It's a busy night. I escape to the pub after about 2 hours.

Then it's back to the house where my fiances family will be, to see them. (And get drunk, they're much more fun than my side of the family)Bout 35 all in all.

Mum, Dad and I.

For the last few years, it's either my family who came round or we went round to someone else's house.

Sometimes it's good to spend time together :yep: with your immediate family

Oh haha, it's great grandmother. I forget that not everybody has this word.

Edit: just googled and saw that people use it for their gran. That is weird to me. I call my grandmother 'granny', and my gran's mother is 'mamgu'. Women in our family age very well heh.
