shallow processing help

okay o im really dumb and I dot get this can someon eplease explain this for me which are the best examples of shallow processing

Ian is checking his essay for spelling mistakes during his lunch break
Ismail is summarising his speech before he leads Friday prayer
Karen is sitting in her revision notes before taking her driving theory test
Kevin is explaining what he did on holiday on his online blog
I don’t get it , I know u might be like how can u not get it, but its hard okay please someone explain to a dumb person like me thanku

Shallow processing is related to the structure of words, not how they sound or their meaning. The latter two examples have to concern the meaning of the words, whereas spelling is just structural - you don't have to register what 'wieght' means to see that it's spelled wrong. So the first example's right. :smile:
