hmmm, well during IB I hated it, but in hindsight I think it was well worth it. I have a friend who went to australia for uni, and hardly studied for her first exams, and passed with over 90 percent in all her subjects based only on what she could remember from IB.

ib is something which u will loathe while u r doin it...especially when in situation with several of my classmates...cuz we were selectd from different countries to do this IB in Uk....so we had several other commitments..not jst ib.....but when m done with it...nd thinkin about these last two yrs....i think i have gathered the most memorable and precious moment of my life....amazin frens....and incredible memories...all those laughters....parties...plays...and funs r flashin in front of my eyes.....i wud have made a terrible mistake by not doin ib.
i thin a lot of the credit and positives for doing IB come from he factthat teachers seem to prefer teaching it over Alevels so are more enthusiasic. plus the schools in the UK that offer it are good schools anyway so that helps make the experience good. i think / hope that wen im done IB i think back on it in the same way as you the legend :p: provided i don crash burn and fail lol

nahhh i think ur over exagurating....
Who doesn't love procrastinating, waking up at 3 o'clock in the morning, or not sleeping at all, to catch up or finish coursework, which is due in on that day. It was quite the experiance..... unforgettable... yes.... would i do it again..... of cooouuuuurse!!! (notice sarcasm)
wow u woke up at 3. my body became immune to any form of alarm clock after gcse, alas not i have no choice but to go to bed at 3 if im working late :frown: lol

so what ? I can't remember exactly how many nights that I didn't sleep to finish my workload. There are also a lot of nights that I've to studied and work until 4 in the morning. Then, wake up at 7 for class ..

It's really an unforgettable experience .. but I don't hate IB for that. Most probably my time management is not good ..

I think IB is good for people who are capable...keep in mind it was designed for very able students. It's obviously a challenge even for the smartest students!
I somehow ended up getting a 42, but seriously, there were so many times very late at night/early morning, nearly throwing up coz I hate the taste of coffee, where I would just sit there contemplating whether I should just give up and be satisfied with a 24. I mean, seriously thought about it.
Now that there is still the alternative of A-levels, why take IB? (please don't give me bull abt the benefits of CAS and the challenge of ToK).
SOOO are IBS better than A levels, what are the benefits of each??
erm IB is better but A level is easier :p: so i guess some would argue A level is better as easier if i had the choice between a good set of IB or good A level results i would take the IB results any day
hey mystereria will cofee keep u up even if u dont like it? cos i really cant stand it but if it actaully helps?

I don't hate IB -I hate the 2 world lit papers - I'm spending my summer revising them T.T I hate it ...... overall though I would still take IB over again
well as you havent done A levels what makes you so sure that they are easier? other than that you have been told
