Ok this is random guys but just wanted to know how are cows, sheep etc slaughtered in UK? I know they're pre-stunned but do they die before their throats are cut or are they still alive ??? IF this is not the way, then how else do they slaughter them ?
Where can I get adequate and right information ?

Just wondering if this is to do with meat being halal or not? If so, then my guess is that the standard method does not fall within the restrictions for being halal. There are specialist butchers and sections in most large supermarkets that have meat clearly marked as halal.
Na na ...! I am a Muslim but I believe stunning is alright permitted the animal is alive after stunning ... if its not then we cant eat the meat .. !
