T test help!!!
Hi, I need to do a paired sample t test for my project on levels of processing and primacy and recency effect. I am clueless on the primacy and recency part of the stats.... In SPSS do I...
A) split the data into groups (deep, medium and shallow levels of processing) before doing a paired sample t test comparing the total mean score with first six score and then the total mean score with the last six score?
or
B) Compare first six with total and last six with total without splitting group.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! xxx
