hello

does any one on here know much about sufi poetry?

i apologise if its not the right place to post this message but I am hoping to find anyone who has studied sufi poets such as baba bulleh shah, rumi or any other. If that is so then any names of the good books and authors will be very helpful.

thanks.

I have 2 books by Rumi, both from Amazon. Just do a search on Amazon, there will be many cheap poem books from Rumi.

Hey Another Rumi fan!

I've studied mostly Jalaluddin Rumi's poems If you are interested in the Mathnawi (which is a series of 8 volumes on poems all round the Love of Allah Almighty) and the best author is Nicholson, but must warn you the Mathnawi is pretty hefty in price :p: If you dont want the whole Mathnawi, theres a brillant reference book called 'The Essence of Rumi's Mathnawi and his life and works' so it also includes his biography.
Theres also one book which inshAllah i want to buy, called Illustrated Rumi. Where some artists painted some pictures according to how they see Rumi's poems, which can be found on Amazon.
Hope that helped

beating your wife with anger and hate is not allowed.....i think a faint slap on the face is probably alright...its haram to go all out and absolutely hit your wife to the extent where shes gets bruises......hope ive helped mate...
