Hey check this out (hadith qudsi):

( أنا أغنى الشركاء عن الشرك ، من عمل عملا أشرك فيه معي غيري تركته وشركه )

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Allah (glorified and exalted be He) said:

I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone else's sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me.

It was related by Muslim (also by Ibn Majah).

let alone who does an action completely for someone else's sake!!!

Rasoolullah (SAW) once said, after the Battle of Badr (I plan on giving a full analysis of this later on...) l-
Musa (AS) once said: Our Lord, indeed you have given Pharoah and his establishment spleandour and wealth in the worldly life. Our Lord, that they may lead men astray from your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth, and harden their hearts so they will not believe until they see the painful punishment.

Hey Rashid, just now looking at your avatar, it reminded me of a friend I know. I call him Gambit! He once flicked a card over a house, he's so talented at it (he's kuwaiti)... i tried it to copy him, the card didn't go beyond 2 metres !

You should listen to some of the stories of the Sahabah (RA), the solidarity of their faith and some of the things they went to. It's truly appauling some of the things that are happening around the world...

Something i heard by Yvonne Ridley, she said that in Afghanistan, they aren't allowing western journalists without armed guard escorts or something (it's kinda like a double idea, give them protection and don't let them see the carnage, ulterior motive)

So she says she put on the Burqa again and goes to Afghanistan and she journeys to a small village (can't remember the name) where two rockets had hit a house. 11 dead in total, 9 of them being children (if i remember correctly)
People tell the mother of this household that she's lucky to have survived and the answer they get from her is how is this survival? I just lost 9 of my children (Or something to that effect)

By this time US officials figure there's someone snooping and come there... They pay the families half a million Afghani currency (dunno what it is) as compensation... Sounds like a lot but works out to something like ~$1000 per child.

You know how much the Lockerbie victims' families were paid? $3 million... each... If i recall correctly.

I listened to it on a lecture by Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki. He gives the arabic as well though...

True, the wealth bit doesn't apply but the rest does. Harden their hearts until they taste the fire
