Just imagine it guys: in a few years time inshallah we'll be fasting during the hot period of summer. Instead of indulging in ice-cream and cold beverages we'll worshipping Allah. Instead of watching our 9PM moview we'll be breaking our fast. etc.

can someone get a translation of that^ secction from the quran please?

in my book it says..
"we gave moses the book
and we had messengers follow up after him.
And we gave jesus, son of mary clear proofs
and strengthened him with the holy spirit.
......."

I thought the holy spirit was a christian concept and not accepted in islam?

"We gave Moses the Book
And followed him up
With a succession of Messengers;
We gave Jesus, the son of Mary,
Clear (Signs) and strengthened him
With the Holy Spirit. Is it
That whenever there comes to you
A Messenger with what ye
Yourselves desire not, ye are
Puffed up with pride?-
Some ye called imposters,
And others ye slay!"
