I'm in halls and we are catered but have a fridge we have to share with about 20 other people. Whatever goes in there is likely to get stolen, so I ended up asking my parents to buy me a mini fridge for Christmas. Mini fridge's aren't allowed in halls, so I need some way of sneaking it up to my room without anyone seeing. However it is so big and heavy that it may be obvious when I try and take it to my room. Any ideas on how to get it to my room?

Wrap it in a quilt/sheet, put it in a box or just wait till no one is looking. Hiding it for room inspections may be a bit harder

Good ideas! I can hide it in my wardrobe for room inspections (it's against the rules for staff to look in wardrobes during inspections)

I'm also curious actually because I know this would be my dilemma when I get to uni...

Is there any halls that allow mini fridges?

Just put it in a giant box, and maybe put some clothes on top so that it looks like a box full of clothes.

You do realise that it is more than likely either going to be
a) not cold enough to be safe (it needs to be below 5C, but many mini fridges are only designed to keep cans cool), or
b) loud enough to be annoying / disturb your sleep
don't you?

Hid it in your anus. It will pass an initial, primary, and detailed search x

Go to the skip and see if you can find a box for something that will fit a mini fridge...

(Ideas: TVs, sound systems, audio monitors, IKEA furniture...)
