I'm still waiting on 7.

Looking at the dates chambers got back on last years thread is usually (though not always) a good indication: last year Garden Court got back on 11 June and this year was exactly the same date. Doughty got back on 12 June last year

I haven't heard anything from Garden Court North yet though!

I wish we could all just set up our own Chambers

That would be great

Who's that directed at? If me then I don't know I'm afraid - currently abroad and asking my mother to open my post!
littleton assessed mini out
4 unsuccessfuls for me in one day, it's gotta be a world record. My last email doesn't even say which chambers, it's just signed off 'kind regards'

Does anyone have any experience of 9 Gough Square or Temple Garden Chambers? If so, it'd be great to hear from you re format of first round interviews.
Today has definitely been a bit of a depressing one! :frown:

Has anyone had experience of interviews at Pump Court or the ore-interview selection process at St Philips? The 3/4 set questions at the latter sounds vaguely ominous...

If anyone does have any pearls of wisdom to offer it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

That is almost going to bring you through the other side to the point of finding it funny.. don't give up, i know so many people who only got pupillage after several years trying. you only need one offer, and if it doesn't work this year, after a year more CV shaping, it will.

Well that's one scheduling nightmare I won't have to endure.

Temple Garden last year was friendly and informal. Mainly CV chat and motivation. There was also a simple ethics question, so (re-)reading code of conduct prior to interview won't harm.

Good luck!!

Chin up! Ur situation cannot be as bad as mine. 64 applications in 3 years. 1 interview last year. Nothing so far this year.

Similar situation to me, 2 interviews this year, one non-gateway set interview in January and nout on gateway so far... all the ones that are left are looking either quite "high-end" or have rejected me in the past without interview... ah well there's always gin eh?

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this but just noticed Doughty Street has gone "unsuccessful" on gateway.

30 Park Place just turned unsuccessful on gateway. Which is great seeing as I am going to their summer party tonight. That won't be awkward... :frown:
