Let's be honest. The most exciting part of football these days is looking at transfer rumours on Twitter and hoping that it is true. The feeling of winning a domestic league, European trophy or World Cup pales in comparison to a twitter transfer rumour actually being correct. Let's kick things off with the incredibly unreliable Ian Abrahams of TalkSport...

Hearing a transfer rumour linking Man Utd with a £20m+ move for ilkay Gundogan in the January Transfer Window

Well, that sentiment is probably only true for Manchester United fans atm.

Maybe for some. Our inconsistency this season has brought my excitement levels up. Under SAF, if we're playing Newcastle or Southampton at home, I'm usually expecting a win and not so 'up' for the match. Under Moyes, all of the 'smaller' matches mean more, all of the wins are sweater, all of the wins against the bigger teams mean more.

But this thread should be fun once we're in the thick of this legendary transfer window.

Liverpool ITKs, like people that edit well known LFC Websites and forums (as in, people who are real life semi-ITKs) are pretty sure that there will be a signing unveiled on January 2nd.

Dan Kennett twitter if anybody gives a ****. Rumours that it's Bertrand but the Bertrand signing was vetoed in the summer by our transfer committee apparently.

Draxler has already sealed a move to an unexpected club for £40m as well, apparently.

I think it could be an unexpected and exciting transfer window.

All of the big teams in England will look to strengthen if they can.

Arsenal - buy a striker?
Chelsea - buy a striker? I'm predicting they'll go for Falcao especially as the 75% tax issue has been confirmed and also he seems to be injured abit more, maybe a sign of unhappiness?
Man United - midfield, left-back?
Liverpool - add some depth to their squad and BR putting on the Smith kid shows he's telling Henry to cough up

Other teams will spend such as Fulham, Cardiff (Tan will spend for the new manager but not for Malky lol).

It's going to be fun!

Betting has been suspended on Mohamed Salah joining @LFC from Basel. What do you think #LFC fans?
David McDonnell ‏@DiscoMirror 5h

Am told Man Utd have no plans to bid for Ross Barkley in January #MUFC #EFC
Hope this is correct. Barkley isn't worth the money or the hype.

Salah's been linked with Liverpool for a month or two now, would add depth to their squad.

Barkley ain't happening - Everton will not let him go. He's got fantastic potential and is showing it with his performances but think he'll stay at Everton as advised to do so by Gerrard.

Lewandowski joining Bayern?!

Man, what a shock! I never that coming!!

Intrigued by how Pep wll integrate him into squad considering his false nine position he likes so maybe it's an evolution of his coaching to have a recognised striker. Feel for Dortmund - lost Gotze but bagged some money for him. Could have done same with Lewandowski but on principle, made him see out his contract.

Where does this leave Mandzukic? Honestly can't see him staying next summer. Pep doesn't seem to be his biggest fan. Gotze/Muller have played the CF role ahead of him at times and now with Lewandowski I just don't see him getting the amount of games he should be getting. Mario Gomez 2.0
