My daughter has applied to study BA Fine Art at Falmouth from September 2014. I have heard from a student at one of her other choices, Oxford Brookes, that people who want to concentrate on traditional skills such as drawing and painting are not well-supported there.
I would be interested to hear from past or present Fine Art students as to whether she would be encouraged in drawing, painting and sculpture at Falmouth.

Falmouth has produced Turner Prize nominees (painting and sculpture) a member of the Royal Academy (sculpture) and has had artists shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize.
We also have a BA(Hons) in Drawing if that was something she was specifically interested in.
Good luck to both of you!
