Rearranging Equations (Von Mises)
Hi guys,
Can anyone direct me on how to rearrange the following equation to find the safety factor using von mises method (the topic is theories of failure for statics)

Divide by 2 to cancel out the 2 on the RHS, then take the square root of both sides, divide by the yield stress to cancel out the yield stress on the RHS, then invert both sides and you will be left with the safety factor on the RHS.
