The EU should be for west European citizens only

The EU was most effective when it was an exclusive club comprising of western Europe, before deciding to do charity and expand east to 3rd world countries like romania and bulgaria.

True, it may feel essential to have that cheap pole or romanian for cleaning your bathroom and repairing your house; but honestly look at the benefits of gulf countries such as the the U.A.E

1. Top jobs and salaries are reserved by law for U.A.E citizens

2. All the social benefits like lower taxes, free education and healthcare go to U.A.E citizens only.

3. Foreigners are not allowed citizenship

4. 80% of the population are foreign but contribute for the prosperity of the 20%.

5. U.A.E citizens by law get first preference for jobs

6. Temporary work permits only and low wages for foreigners

This sounds like a good deal. Why on earth would Britain need east europeans to come here and drain our limited resources? To eat up the healthcare, education, dole, jobs etc.

Because the MP's dont care about the British people.
What needs to be done is to enforce sensible limits on immigration and emigration across the EU, so that skilled workers can travel to countries to find work. Also, more should be done to improve the Eastern European countries, and reduce the incentive for them to emigrate to other countries.

Or simply not allow them to come (much easier).
The area of easy travel should have been west European and northern European countries. Makes no sense to put eastern Europe in there when their economies aren't the same as ours, meaning mass immigration and migration.

It's disturbing that you think ease trumps the possibility of increasing general well-being.

The easy way or the right way.

It is not our responsibility to build another country at the expense of our own.

Yet, another 'great idea' from you! So you want to introduce the death penalty in the UK, jail all the people who choose to express freely, punish comedians for making fun of our government, stone women for being promiscuous etc?!

I couldn't agree more, for me the model we should be pursuing is the immigration system of Canada. In Canada they have a points based system and employers have to advertise to Canadians first (like we had a case where a large number of jobs were advertised below minimum wage and only in Polish). This means that the immigration system can be well managed and immigration responds to national need.
In other words, the UAE exploits its economic migrants. And you suggest we do the same.

And with an 80% underclass.. my god, this is like a Marxist's wet dream.

keep spinning I have supported the death penalty (and I am sure if put to a referendum it would be voted for) but the other things you mention I have never said jailing all those who disgaree? keep making up lies
Both of my parents are Bulgarian, they work high paying jobs, pay taxes and have never been on benefits. We have lived here for 16years and only ever contributed to society and not taken anything that paying taxes had not already covered.

The daily mail has exaggerated this beyond belief, the are not going to be 'floods' of immigrants coming in because anyone who wanted to leave already did.

The unelected EU commission dictating the nation members' policies is the problem, not the members that are within it.

If each nation could implement their own policies/laws without a load of red-tape (like states in the US, ironically) there wouldn't be as much of an issue.
The eastern countries are a bit **** aren't they?

Tbh dude you've unfortunately been clumped along with the reputation of the Romanians simply because its the same date you can both come here.

However, with respect the DM have focussed on Romanian stories specifically..... not Bulgarian....
