I dont think you will see much performance difference between each.

Regarding your CPU's - My machine has a i5 2500k CPU. This is older than both of your options but it still runs all the games i have tried on maximum settings.

32GB is a lot more than 8GB but i dont think you will see much benefit above 8 mzybe 16GB so this is not worth the extra.

The GPUs may show a noticeable performance difference, however once you get past the 780gtx level you start to get into huge price jumps for very little extra benefit.

That said there is only s £120 price difference.

Theifore i would suggest the cheaper machine unless the £120 is of no significance to you.

One thing to mention thou
both of those machines have standard HDD's

You should use a standard HDD for storage and a lower sized SDD for your OS games and programs because the speed difference is unbelievable. Better still, get 2 identical SDD's with half of your desired capacity and run then as one RAID 0 drive for double the speed.

I have a 2x SDD raid 0 setup in my machine and it is so fast that when the windows 7 loading screen appears (where the 4 glowing windows come together then glow for ages) it finishes booting before the 4 windows reach each other.

Honestly, upgrading to a SDD or better still 2x SDD in raid 0 will make much more difference than any other upgrade you can get.
PC FTW!
