The Simplex Algorithm...

So today I've spent hours revising AQA Decision 2... and the simplex algorithm is driving me insane! I can formulate the maximising problem and put the equations into tableau format and identify the pivot but then after that I haven't got a clue.. I know I need to reduce the other elements of the pivot column to zero... but I have no idea how to do so.. if anyone could help me out on this or has any tips, it would be greatly appreciated! :smile:

Which book are you using? I can't actually help you as it's been some time since I did D2 but I used this book, and it explained it quite well :smile:
