So, I was just counting and realised I had 7 jobs in 2013!
I started as a TA last Jan. Quit after 1.5 days
Then I worked in a retail head office. Quit after 2.5 months.
Then I got a climbing job. I quit before my first shift
Then I got a temp job at a finance company for 3 days. They offered me a perm role but I turned it down (So kinda quitting right?)
Then I worked in another temp job at a magic circle law firm. I quit after 2 days cos the job was boring
Then I got another temp job at a healthcare consultancy. I quit after 3 days because the salary was so ****! Work was kind of interesting though.
Then I got a job working at a London council. I'm still in this one since mid Dec - it's been 3 weeks! Woh! So long!
How mental is that? Actually I'm thinking of quitting my current job too if I get this dream geophysicist job I've spent years pursuing! Monday is make of break day!
So, What's the most number of job you've had in a year? Edit: Vote on the poll too please

Why did you quit so much! Surely the first few days couldn't have been that bad...

I know the feeling - I've quit a few jobs - all customer service ones (not fun). Last year I had two jobs.

Last year I just had one job, stuck with it from Jan-December. Then quit. Now unemployed and looking for work again. Want something decent and I'm willing to hold out a little while for it.

I've signed up to a few agencies, that'll flush some temp work out to keep the money ticking over.
In between that I'll apply for other ****, had a call back about a sales job which I'm semi-interested in, got to wait till the 20th Jan for an assessment as far as I know.
I don't know exactly what I want to do for a career yet. I get bored very easily.
I've never been in a job longer than a year, in over 10 years.

To be honest it doesnt look like you gave half of those jobs a chance. You quit way too quickly at least give it a week but in my opinion a month is more fair because it will give you a chance to settle in properly.
You quit some jobs before your first shift?! why? Also you quit complaining about the pay? Were you not informed of the pay before you started??
Stan Smith would say "Be a man and grow a backbone. Real men don't quit!"

I was working at 1 nursery from january-may (left there because they started giving me very little hours- i was only bank staff).
Then from june-december i was at the nursery im at now.
Ive also still been working at mcdonalds all this time- just on a sunday morning. Ive been there for nearly 6 years now. Im not about to give that up- as it was useful when i was bank staff at the old nursery- as i had the option of upping my hours there if i needed. I was going to go back full time there after my old nursery cut my hours, but then i got in at the nursery im at now really quick. And with ofsted looming and the rumours of us shutting etc, i may need it.
