You really must see this clip from a BBC drama called The First Churchills. In this scene, Charles II is going to see his mistress, and she has just let her own lover jump out the window. The King is most suspicious that her servants seem to be trying to delay him (not embedded because it needs a specific time-code)

It's a drama. He cannot have been much good given that he ended up being executed as happened to his grandmother.

Apologies, I meant Charles II.

And knowing your history, you'd know he was a bit of a lad in real life. But the scene is quite funny too; "As for you, wench".
