Stephen King vs Agatha Christie
This should be interesting.
Which of these two authors do you think is better? Both authors are fantastic in their fields and have/will go down in history as a Dickens of the modern age.
Personally, I prefer Stephen King. He is my favourite writer. I feel that his books are more varied than Christies and I feel he has made more of an impact on popular culture.

I love Agatha Christie's books. Stephen King doesn't really do it for me...

agatha christie for me specially the Poirot lot...I don't think I've ever read a Stephen King book so I can't exactly say I don't like his books. Any recommeneded reads of his?

I prefer Agatha Christie because sometimes I find King's writing is too bogged down in pointless narrative and goes on far longer than it needs to.

Oh surely its harder to choose one than that.
If I had to choose having read only one of them, I'd pick Agatha Christie. But if I had to choose having read only one book/series, I'd pick the Dark Tower series.
