i knew this black guy who used to live in yorkshire, he told me some ****ed up stories regarding racism there. they wrote stuff like n*gger in his door, swore at his mum, in school people used to call him paki etc lots of general bullying

It depends where you live in Yorkshire in my opinion. South Yorkshire (except for maybe Sheffield which is pretty cosmopolitan now) is a lot more racist than West Yorkshire. Barnsley in my experience is pretty racist. Probably to do with industry. In West a lot of immigrants were hired to work in mills, but in South in the pits it was generally local communities who were the labor

Places like Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield aren't so bad in my experience.

Can't say much about East and North Yorkshire.
