I've been re-writing my coursework piece for my as level English (the analytic comparison of given texts)
and was wondering if my use of words was right in context to what I am trying to say
" Twain using Huck as a child protagonist represents how prejudice views distort the mind of adults, but not those too young to see it in all of its aspects, with a view that everyone is equal showing that this is how Twain would like the rest of society to think, eventually. Huck may have been a rendition of society’s first step towards change"
Is rendition here the right word to use? If not what would be a better choice?
