Hi everyone, I've been struggling quite a lot lately with how to actually structure our essays in Psychology. We haven't really been given any example material, and I have a mock coming up very soon. Although I find the content relatively easy to grasp, I find it very difficult to put it into an essay in a structure that's correct. Could any A2 Psychology students help please? Image (I mean this in terms of A01, A02 and A03. I just don't get it.)

We've been taught the 'eight steps to discussing a theory'

1) brief outline of what the theory is
2) what can the theory explain about the behaviour
3) what debate is relevant (e.g. Nature vs. nurture)
4) is there evidence to support the theory
5) any evidence against the theory
6) criticisms and problems with the theory
7) alternative/ additional explanations for the behaviour
8) implications of the theory

Hope this helps a bit
