Are you referring to population validity or an imposed etic or something else?

Culture bias, ethnocentric, imposed etic, reduction in population validity, lacking universality n explanation etc.

You can make a point about the non-generalisability of a study due to cultural differences as long as you explain why that is the case. For instance, many studies can actually be generalised (i.e. the results show a correlation/difference that is general to human performance) and from my experience US/UK studies are usually comparable because there is little difference in language, culture etc which is often a factor that creates different results.

However, if the study you're referring to could obtain different results in the UK - for a theoretically grounded reason - then I'd explain in terms of culture bias or population validity or representative sampling.
