I believe tectonic plates are found in the earth crust and if they move towards one another they cause mountains.
Volcanoes are formed in cracks and etc and earthquakes are formed when one tectonic plate goes on top on another
tectonic plate. I am not too sure if this is correct just check online to get the right defintion but i hope this helps and good luck tomorrow.
