What time should a re-delivery package arrive at my door? (Royal mail)

Basically I ordered some stuff off Amazon last week, but slept through the doorbell on Tuesday. So I got my little card saying the postman has called or whatever, and phoned to have it re-delivered today.

Now, my usual post (boring stuff, and a 99p blockbuster thing wooop :biggrin:

) arrived about 9.30, and I was just wondering what time the re-delivered package should arrive? I know it varies all over the country, but does anyone know, should it have come with the usual post, or will it arrive after 1pm or anything like that....?

I'm heading out in an hour, and woke up at 8 especially to receive it, so I REALLY don't wanna have to get it redelivered again.

well RM are doing parcels seperate from mail now especially if its big or a redelivery, I have known them to turn up at like 3/4 o clock.

oh.. I bought a camera off eBay and it arrived yesterday - but not with the usual post. The usual post came at around 9 (as usual) and the camera came at around 10.30..

Can you not leave a note telling him to give it to your next-door neighbour? That's what we usually do..
(mind you, we can trust our next-door neighbour, some people can't..! Can you?)
