Matlab: Finding localised minimum and maximum of data set Watch

If anyone can help me with this problem I'd be beyond grateful. I'm trying to analyse a 30,000 item data set of position of knee height against time (it's a gate study). I want to write a function where I can input my data for knee height and the corresponding times (two seperate vectors) and get an output of four distinct vectors of the localised minimum values of height and corresponding times and then the localised maximum of height and corresponding times.

I've tried using the findpeaks function which has given me the output of the maximum heights and the corresponding vector location (i.e. there is a maximum in say the 54th element) so I need a way to match up that data with the time data and whilst this works in the command window, it won't work in the function. This also doesn't help me with my minimum problem!

All help appreciated!!
