I'm doing an investigation on Aspirin and the best methods to test purity. I need to make a micture of aspirin with a known purity and then test different methods (colorimetry, titration, melting point, tlc) on it to see which one gives me the best results. How can I make different mixtures of Aspirin making sure it isnt going to react into something else??? Can i do it by mixing xg of pure Aspirin with xg of salicylic acid and water???
