Hello everyone! I just wanted to share my thoughts on the fashion discussions happening here. It's great to see so many people engaging in the 'What Are You Wearing Today' thread, as it really fosters a sense of community and creativity among us. I love how we can post our outfits for constructive criticism or just to show off, as mentioned by Peachz in the original post.
I also appreciate the emphasis on respectful feedback, where we can suggest improvements without being offensive. This positive environment is essential for everyone to feel comfortable sharing their styles. Speaking of styles, I recently came across some unique jewelry pieces that could complement various outfits, and I think they would fit perfectly into our discussions about fashion.
If you're interested in exploring more about fashion accessories, I recommend checking out some jewelry inspirations that can elevate your outfits. Let's keep sharing our fits and supporting each other in our fashion journeys!

Black & white checkerboard pattern sweatshirt.
Black denim shorts.
Black faux leather jacket.
Black Doc Martens with white socks pulled up over the top of my boots- looks like I've got a bit of a monochrome theme going on today.

Hello! Welcome to the new WAYWT thread. That's 'What are you wearing today' for those not in the know . Here we shall post our outfits for constructive criticism or simply to show off!
Quick tips:

Try to take a picture in good lighting! This helps us determine what colour your garments are & makes it easier for us to help you. The best lighting is from the sun so if you have a back yard or an open space where you can take a picture I'd do it there. If that isn't an option, make sure the light is coming from behind the camera and never from in front.

Sign up to http://dressed.so! This makes it loads easier to collate all your fits. It helps show you what you wear and how often you wear it. It also comes with picture tagging, you can specify which item comes from which shop on your specific fit picture.

If you're just doing this as a one off, use a basic imaging site like imgur.

Try and list what brand each piece of clothing is, this will save loads of people asking the same questions!

Constructive criticism is welcomed but offensive posts obviously are not! Saying something like 'get to the gym' or 'lift more bro' is not helpful but something along the lines of 'this jumper is too tight around the chest you should get a size up', 'go to the tailor' or 'x would suit your body type more' is constructive. Obviously, fitness and body type are important aspects of fashion so we would not want to eliminate these from discussion either. If you're going to say something doesn't work, explain why and how it could be improved, let's keep it positive and useful for everyone.

Respect other peoples privacy, it is not necessary to blur your face from pictures, however some prefer to do so. If there is more than one persons face in any one picture, they must be blurred out. Any images that are of more than one person without the appropriate blurring/censorship shall be removed.

Spoiler big images so the page loads quicker for other users!!

I hope that has summed up what's going on! If we can try and keep the layout of your fits to something along the lines of:

Spoiler

Anyway, happy posting!!
You’ve touched on something really important—deciding your future feels like a weighty process because each choice seems so final. It helps to break it down into smaller steps and keep an open mind, since many paths can lead to success. I’ve seen parallels in how people trust reliable sources—something like world health—when seeking guidance across life’s big questions. Out of all the uncertainties students face, which one do you think they overanalyze most: choosing a major, picking a college, or planning for life after graduation?

Black cashmere sweater.
Red & black tartan miniskirt.
White parka jacket.
Autumn for me means time to get into my knee high boots for the colder weather, so black boots with some fleecy socks underneath.
Black & white patterned scarf to complete my outfit.

White cashmere turtleneck sweater.
Purple velvet tailored jacket & matching purple velvet miniskirt. I had these custom made- one of my friends is a designer and when she does bespoke women's suits she normally makes them with either trousers or a knee length skirt but since I pretty much live in short skirts she did mine with a mini as a nice personalised touch.
During the colder months I tend to wear knee high boots but today I've gone for patent purple shoes with white knee high socks. I used to wear knee high socks a lot when I was younger- I kind of got out of the habit, sometimes I feel they look a bit too schoolgirl-ish but they keep my feet & calves warm & feel less restrictive than wearing boots all day so I really should do more often. Plus today they match with the purple & white theme & the white is a good contrast against my skin tone.
A black silk scarf with a gold geometric pattern to complete my outfit.
