You are very lucky to have survived then, thats VERY rare for a baby of 22 weeks.

I was born 7 weeks early and had to be in an incubator for a while. Weighed 3lb 14oz. I was late walking - 16 months, but early talking - 3 months. Yes, that's true - Mum, Dad and Nan were witnesses - I said 'baby' 'cos my Dad always came home and said it to me.

Other than being late walking, I was perfectly healthy. :smile:

No the incubator did all the work. He was young and still developing. Plus it was a small hole, but enough to cause him harm. He has respiratory problems now, but its not so bad anymore.

Same here, I was the wrong way round but why couldn't they wait a few weeks longer :confused:

Thank God, I was praying I wasn't the only one! I was 2 weeks late, weighed 9lb10oz and was 60cm long at birth!!! My poor mother!!!

I was a few days premature i think which sadly leads me to deduce chances are i was a mistake..... :frown:

My birthday is the 28th september and apparently i was a few days premature which would take me to the start of october/end september, work that back 9 months and i was created on new years eve.... :frown:

Maybe a drunken night of celebration between my parents turned out to be more than they expected. :frown:

Once, in primary school, a classmate told me that he was born a certain length of time before his due date. I said, "Oh, so you were premature." He replied, "No, YOU'RE premature!"

my mum was 26 weeks when I was born. I was three and a half months early. weighted 1b (a can of coke, or so I'm told). it's so freaky seeing pictures of myself, you just can't believe a person can be so tiny. :smile:

I was in hospital for two months. According to people, I stopped breathing and actually ‘died’ a few times. Thinking back now, it seems really scary.

I was a month early and they didnt put me into one of those machines, they said I was healthy, yet I had a hole in my heart, missing part of my brain and had jaundice.
