Would these grades satisfy my offer?

Hi,

I have an offer from UCL to study French and German, on the condition that I get AAA at A Level.

I was wondering what the policy regarding A*s is. Currently I am on track to get A* in both French and German at A Level, but I may only get a B in my third subject, which is Economics.

Would A*A*B be sufficient, if I achieved A*s in the two subjects that I would be studying? Or do I need to push for that A in economics?

Thanks.
A*A*B will not meet your offer automatically. However, it's possible that the department will let you in with A*A*B, especially if the A*s are in the languages you plan to study. It all depends on how over/under-subscribed they are.

A*A*B will not give you all As across the board, which may be UCL's baseline. They don't have to let you in and, as a very popular university, they do not need to be 'kind'. They may choose to be, but don't make any assumptions about that.
