Everywhere you look, 'beautiful'= blonde. Growing up I always thought this, when I was a little girl I wished I had blonde hair. There are famous beauties like Marilyn monroe, Barbie was blonde, then there's the whole 'gentleman prefer blondes thing'.
It seems like when a woman/girl wants to be pretty, for an easy fix they dye their hair blonde. I know too many people to count that have done this. And there's no denying it gets more attention. I know a girl who was blonde all her life, tried being brunette, then dyed it back because she couldn't stand it as men no longer looked at her.
Why does society think this? Blondes always get more attention and so many girls want to be blonde. Well....why?
I guess maybe because it's simply rare and also it's a bright colour - you notice it more. Not to mention all the media and Hollywood who have created the term 'blonde bombshell' e.g. Marilyn Monroe. Iit's kinda like propaganda. Blondes are also often associated to curvy figures too
