Cambridge CIE Book errors?

Hi all

Is anyone using the Hodder Education book Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 2nd Edition by Ric Pimental and Terry Waller?

I'm self-studying with it and have found it so error-strewn that I simply don't feel I can trust the answers in it. I have been self-studying so don't have a maths tutor or teacher to confirm if there are mistakes, but I have been passing some questions onto a friend with a maths degree and he has found errors also. it's a few years since he used said degree though so I still don't feel I can be 100% certain.

Has anyone else used this book and found similar problems?
