How does love feel?

When you love someone, how do you know that?

Do you feel anything?

I can't help thinking about one person. I keep imagining her to be around/hoping she's around all the time. I think about her before I fall asleep. This is freaking me out! Sometimes my heart hurts when I think of her.

Am I in love? or is it something else?

When your constantly thinking about this one person, wishing they were with you, when it properly takes over your life. You just know when its love.

If you've never been in love before, then you may well have to ask if it is love or not - the fact of having to ask doesn't mean that it isn't love, its just that you're not sure of the feelings you're having.

Love can feel slightly different in different people, and may thus be difficult to define, but is generally a feeling of very strong attachment and commitment and desire to be with that person, as well as feeling you care for them and respect them etc etc ...

I wouldn't say thats love, thats more an obsession.

But love is euphemistic for obsession, sire. They're the same thing, just one is considered less psychotic.

Yeah, but seriously, do you feel like you're going mad? Cos love is, to over-simplify things, a neurochemical imbalance. Anyway, it sounds like you're in love with her to me, or just a deep sounding infatuation. It WILL pass, if you want it to.

Well if anything ever happened to them, as in they died or dumped you. You'd feel like your world would end.

Whenever your not with them your always thinking about when you will see them next.

Being with them makes you feel the luckest person alive and whenever you kiss them you feel like your in heaven.

Stupidly long uni hols! I think I want to have a family with him.

As for love - love is unconditional and completely sacrificial and you put him/her above and before yourself, and if it comes to it, you'd die for them.

Love also grows stronger with time... yesterday was the second time i stopped at his(my boyfriends) and away from home. My reaction this time is completely different to last. Im craving to be near him, makes me feel like im ill. I guess love is also like a drug makes you want more.

In the end its different for everyone (love that is). Love itself is just to hard to define, and has no real "feeling", its different for everyone. IMO it is that whenever I am around said person, even after a year and a half I still get the "flutters" in my stomach, I still want too see her all day even if I have seen her for a week straight. I never get bored of her, and I know all her flaws but wouldnt want to change a single one

Its awesome its not something some one could tell you. Its something you need to feel for yourself. You'll know when you are in love. Like butterflys in the stomach mixed with so much happiness that you have a constant smile on your face with a little bit of delusion and a pinch of emotion. If you feel that way about someone never let them go cause you'll end up full of regrets. :smile:
